There's a hexa-core CPU with two performance Cortex-A73 cores, running at 2.0 GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A53 cores at 1.6 GHz.

According to the specs provided by Samsung, it supports up to WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution displays, which should be enough for most mid-range smartphones. Samsung claims up to a 2x boost to single core performance, so it's a well balanced middle ground for users.

The Exynos 7872 processor features an LTE modem that supports Category 7 with 2CA (Carrier Aggregation) for 300Mbps downlink speed and Category 13 with 2CA for 150Mbps uplink speed for faster yet reliable mobile communication. This essentially means that we can expect mid-range handsets feature this security feature soon. Some of the other features include upgraded ISP and MFC for video encoding and decoding at 120fps with HEVC (H.265) and H.264 codecs, using 21.7MP camera.

Africa Summons US Diplomat Over Trump's Reported Vulgar Remarks
The African Union (AU) issued a statement on Friday evening calling Trump's reported remarks outrageous and hurtful. Trump has denied he is a racist and insists he didn't make the reported vulgar remarks.

On the camera front, Meizu M6s sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Samsung CMOS lens and f/2.0 aperture.

The 8MP selfie camera is enriched with "facial enhancement technology", a pressure-sensitive Halo button supports various gestures previously made possible by physical mBack home keys, and the whole thing is both robust and elegant, thanks to a "sandblasted" metal build, 2.5D glass, and nano-injection antenna design. It also embeds a hardware block for Smart WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) that generates a WDR image with just a single shot, Samsung says.

Supported memory types on the chip are LPDDR3 for RAM, eMMC 5.1 for built-in storage and the SD 3.0 standard for expandable memory (i.e. UHS-I microSD cards). Additionally, the highest supported resolution of the display is 1920×1200, which more or less rules out the possibility of smartphones powered by this chipset featuring a full-HD+ display. Further, the modem also supports up to 4G network with dual-band WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 5.0. Meanwhile, sensors include GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo.
