The extreme light sensitive primary camera located at the back has 23 megapixels while the front camera has 8 megapixels. The original equipment manufacturer provided no hints in regards to what can be expected from its next MWC conference but recent rumors suggest the company is planning to unveil multiple devices, with at least one of them being a full-fledged flagship possibly marketed as the Xperia XZ Pro.
The Xperia XZ Premium sports a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera system on the rear assisted with predictive phase detection and laser autofocus, but no Optical Image Stabilisation.
Along with the XA2 and XA2 Ultra, Sony also offers the XPERIA L2, a cheaper alternative, in several European countries. Single and dual-SIM versions should also be present when the smartphone is officially available to purchase. The front-facing camera is set to have a 13MP lens.
The signature "loop surface" design language had mixed reactions throughout 2017, and Xperia XZ Pro is going to change that. The device is expected to be powered by 3,420 mAh battery.
