Dubious calls to "internationalize the Two Holy Mosques" are a result of hatred and political bankruptcy, and indicate an ignorance of the historical role of Saudi Arabia in serving the pilgrims and spreading the Islamic values and moderation, stated Bahrain's Minister of Information Ali al-Rumaihi. While addressing the gathering, EAM Swaraj said, "Today, we are invited to "Janadriyah" festival as a guest of honour country".

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday met Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir here and discussed deepening of India-Saudi Arabia ties. She hailed PM Modi's 2016 visit to the Gulf kingdom as a strong visit that provided the much needed impetus to growth of relations between both the countries.

A number of Indian companies, including L & T, Tata Motors, Lulu Group, TCIL, Al Abeer Medical Group, ITL Group, Jet Airways and several others are putting up their stalls in the Indian pavilion.

Muscat: Sushma Swaraj, the Minister of External Affairs of India is visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time. There will be an Indian pavilion which will show the glimpses of traditional and modern India.

India's participation in the Festival will be multifaceted.

Saudi Arabia is the fourth-largest trading partner for India with bilateral trade exceeding $25 billion in 2016-17. Being the largest supplier of crude oil, Saudi Arabia accounts for about 20 percent of India's total annual imports.

The volume of bilateral trade during 2016-17 was recorded at Dollars 25.079 billion, a slight decrease from the USD 26.71 billion in 2015-16.

Saudi Arabia hosts 3.2 million strong Indian community.

Last evening, Ms. Swaraj addressed Indian community members at a reception in Riyadh and spoke in length about the growing relations between the two countries, Mr. Kumar said.
