The Daily Star of United Kingdom reported yesterday that the incident took place at Dongguan Railway Station in China's southern Guangdong Province.

Train stations are grappling with a mad rush this month as hundreds of millions of people head home to celebrate Lunar New Year.

According to a Mirror Online report, the woman was happy to put her suitcases through the machine before walking through the security checkpoint holding the smaller handbag.

The freakish incident happened at Dongguan Railway Station in China's southern Guangdong Province.

She placed her bag on the conveyor belt, before climbing on herself so she could ensure the safety of valuables. Security camera footage showed her climbing out of the machine and checking handbag and luggage.

However, after being told her handbag needs to be checked as well, she obviously deemes the risk of leaving it unattended too high to take, so she just jumps right along.

A video, which has gone viral on social media, shows the unidentified woman getting down from the conveyor belt.

The woman passenger, however, did not face against ill-effects, the security staff members at the Dongguan railway station warned all the other passengers not to indulge in such exercises.

Meanwhile, security staff at Dongguan Railway Station staff have advised passengers not to ride the X-ray machines as radiation can be harmful.
