Detroit gunman kills two women, wounds cop after pledging to 'not go down without a fight'

Three women were killed and three police officers injured in a unsafe barricade incident at a Detroit home that lasted from Sunday night through Monday, Detroit police said. He added that police initially believed another person was firing from a neighboring house, but ultimately determined there was only one barricaded shooter situation.

Police fired flash-bang grenades and gas cannisters into the home multiple times between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 2 a.m. Monday, when they lost all contact with the suspect.
