The Indian National Congress will chart a five-year roadmap and a strategy for the upcoming general elections at a plenary session in March.

The leaders were expected to discuss the schedule of the plenary session and the venue of the meeting. The dates were fixed at a meeting of steering committee, which was formed after dissolving the Central Working Committee.

The steering committee also includes senior leaders A K Antony, Ahmed Patel, Digvijay Singh, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ambika Soni, Dwivedi, Ashok Gehlot, Sushil Kumar Shinde, P Chidambaram, Oscar Fernandes, Anand Sharma and All India Congress Committee (AICC) chief spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala.
