Canada's Brady Leman wins gold in men's ski cross

Brady Leman reacting after winning the gold medal in the men's freestyle skiing ski cross finals at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games in South Korea today. Instead, Ridzik got back on his feet and finished behind Leman and Switzerland's Marc Bischofberger. The Russian athlete finished third at the tournament's final.

There was no French skier in the final, just four years on from a podium clean-sweep in Sochi.

"This blows the other two Games out of the water", said Leman.

Mr Sheeran kept his fans guessing when he walked the red carpet at London's O2 Arena with what appeared to be a silver or platinum band on his wedding finger.

However, the gold medal race wasn't incident free as Olympic Athlete from Russia Sergey Ridzik and Canada's Kevin Drury collided in spectacular style.

Ridzik and Drury's crash was not the only accident during the men's ski cross in Pyeongchang.

The heats of the event also proved to be crash-ridden, with Canadian Christopher Delbosco and France's Terence Tchiknavorian both suffering serious injuries.

"This one I really tried to enjoy a little more and be part of the Olympic experience and I used that on race day".
