Asked by UPI in NY recently if she was looking forward to heading to Hollywood for the Oscars, Anderson-Lopez replied: "Our category is a little nuts".

"But this is not for you.this is for my mom who passed away".

Here's one last piece of trivia that should wow music enthusiasts or artists in general: Filipino-American Robert Lopez is the only person in the world who has achieved a double "EGOT".

Coco provided Disney and Pixar another year of dominance at the Academy Awards.

China is increasing its military spending by almost 10%
He also said the military, the government, and its people must always be as "strong as stone". Xi has promised to make China's military forces "world class" by the middle of the century.

It may have been their moment to shine, but when Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez took the stage at the Dolby Theatre to accept the award for Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards, they made sure to shine a spotlight on their fellow nominees. There are now 12 people who have achieved an "EGOT"-winning an award per body".

Lopez won his first Oscar, also with his wife, for the song "Let It Go" from Frozen and two Daytime Emmy awards for his work on the animated children's series Wonder Pets.

Coco, which is also up for the Best Animated Feature Oscar, is now available on DVD and streaming platforms. The pair won a Tony for best original score a year ago and a Grammy in January for best musical theater album for their work on Dear Evan Hansen. He has three Tony Awards (two for The Book of Mormon and one for Avenue Q) and three Grammy Awards (two for Frozen and one for The Book of Mormon).

Going into the Oscars night that would add yet another gold statuette to his collection, Lopez said he was much less nervous than his first time hitting the awards show circuit.
