Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be heading to Nintendo 3DS and Switch this year. We already have versions of Mario Kart 8 and Bayonetta 2, with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze coming out soon as well.
On top of that, the Switch version will provide a neat little co-op mode, where a second player can join in with their own controller, or one of the JoyCons.
With some of the action taking place on the Wii U GamePad, the new version of game would work well on the Switch and 3DS screens.
PUBG reveals the 2018 roadmap - New map plans and more
Just like any online game with a huge pool of players and enormous popularity, PUBG aims to eventually enter into eSports. Testing of the Achievements, in-game friends list and squad voice chat in the main menu are also ready to be tested.
Even though Toad characters have appeared in video games since the original Super Mario Bros. game on NES, this is the first time that one of them gets top billing.
As if that weren't enough, Nintendo plans to also release a Nintendo 3DS version, complete with stereoscopic 3D and touch controls. Captain Toad can't jump through, which can make some levels tricky to traverse. It's a must play for those who never had the chance to experience it.
