Kenya's Billy Odhiambo, front, and Fiji's Alasio Sovita vie for the ball during World Rugby Sevens Series final action in Vancouver.

The result ensured Shujaa will now meet U.S. in the last four as Fiji meets champions and series leaders South Africa in the other semi.

Kenya opened the scoring after two minutes with a try to Willy Ambaka, the 99th of his World Series career.

Samuel Oliech then made another try but failed in conversion for what would be Kenya's last efoort but Fiji would answer that in similar fashion through Sevuloni Mocenacagi for a 12-12 tie at the break.

Nasilasila also featured in the lead-up to the next try, kicking into open space for Alasi Sovita Naduva, who kicked the ball on and claimed a helpful bounce to score.
