There's major speculation running that The Undertaker will be making an appearance at tonight's WWE Fast Lane event. What is this pay-per-view? I just can't see clearly how any of this ends. It would have been nice to have a bit more build to it, but we're getting the match everyone wanted, so it's really hard to complain. As far as what Michael Cole would consider "WrestleMania implications" are concerned, there is next to nothing. Makes me nervous for the Six-Pack Challenge later. While I don't mean to discourage the athleticism and skill of the men involved, I simply don't see the outcome of this match being any kind of surprise.
John Cena, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler will compete against Styles for the blue brand's top title. John Cena was added to the mix when he defeated AJ Styles just two weeks ago in his pursuit to be featured at WrestleMania. I prefer Taker, but as long as he's not butting into Styles vs. Nakamura, I can live with whatever. To put the kibosh on that now would just be a giant letdown; but hey, it's never beyond the realm of possibility in today's WWE to deliberately book against the wants and needs of the fanbase.
Cena entered as a free-agent in the last moment of six-pack challenge for the WWE Championship at Fastlane before making his way to WrestleMania 34 and fans went insane seeing him. Meanwhile, the rest of the card is a mess. This is the final "SmackDown" pay-per-view leading up to WrestleMania 34.
Even with a fairly strong lineup, WWE won't give the same level of focus to each bout. The match itself should be pretty damn good, but once again, this was hastily thrown together and has zero impact on the story.

Aso has refused to resign over the scandal, which last Friday saw the head of the tax agency Nobuhisa Sagawa step down. Eight out of 10 respondents said the government was not properly responding to the allegations.
Slide 5/6 - SmackDown Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs.
Charlotte is an overwhelming favorite to retain the Women's title (-1000) over Riott (+500). In fact, there aren't a lot of options for Charlotte at WrestleMania since Ronda Rousey's dance card is full.
Elsewhere at Fastlane, Natalya and Carmella defeated Naomi and Becky Lynch, The Bludgeon Brothers laid out The Usos and The New Day, and Charlotte Flair pinned Ruby Riott. There were multiple series of wrestlers hitting finishers and being stopped by someone else in the match.
The Usos are favorites (-175) against The New Day (+125). Easily match of the night. Even though it seems they've battled countless times, these two teams have earned a smooth Flair/Steamboat dynamic. Or could it be The Showoff's time to shine, meaning "The Ziggly One" Dolph Ziggler is WrestleMania-bound with the WWE Championship in hand. I get that it's the one title that has eluded Orton in his career, but the payoff seems like it'll be much bigger if it culminates at 'Mania.
