Hopefully this isn't the last of Bayek's adventures in this incredible game-world Ubisoft has created. A unusual curse has befallen the region and Bayek is investigating the plague and what has caused it. In the vid, you'll get a brief glimpse at the all-new story, in which Bayek must journey to the ancient capital of Thebes to investigate a awful curse that has blanketed the region. Instead of the mortal and deceitful Order of the Ancients, he finds undead pharaohs materializing in the streets and slaughtering civilians. The story goes that grave robbers are treating the Valley of the Kings like a strip mine for antiquities. Bayek will be notified when a pharaoh is on the loose and he would have to make his way there quickly and take care of the threat in a given time period. Self-contained open worlds showcase the individual afterlives of the various undead pharaohs, which can be fast-traveled to once they are discovered. Besides the pharaohs, Beyek always has a chance to come across the Anubis-like guards roaming the land.
[Update] A launch trailer has also been released, you can find it below. Along the way, he'll battle a variety of mythological beasts and famous Egyptian pharaohs, including Nefertiti and giant scorpions. Check it out here.
