Case Keenum reportedly plans to sign with the Broncos

So the Jets are working on a contract with ex-Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

In three years as the starter in Washington, Cousins threw for 13,176 yards, 81 touchdowns and 36 interceptions while completing 67 percent of his passes.

But, they went out and signed one of the top quarterback free agents and will nearly certainly draft a QB in the first round, too.

Cousins' contract has an average value of $28 million per season, which also makes him the highest-paid in National Football League history on an annual basis.

Cousins joins a talented Vikings team that went into the offseason with a glut of talented quarterbacks.

Last season, the Vikings - led by quarterback Case Keenum, lost to eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia in the NFC Championship.

In the mean time, fans can look forward to seeing Kidman reprise the role of Celeste on Little Lies when it returns for Season 2. Nicole's new role will see her play Grace Sachs, a happy wife and mother who's on the brink of publishing her first novel.

The Vikings are the NFL's "it" team, with the league's best defense and a shiny new quarterback who not only can see over his offensive line but has passed for more than 4,000 yards in each of three as the Washington Redskins' starting quarterback. Green Bay has the same Super Bowl odds as Minnesota with the quarterback expected to be completely healthy at the start of the 2018 season. Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen are considered top-tier guys, and with the Jets sitting at No. 6, they will likely be able to get one.

The Vikings, who were subsequently blown out at Philadelphia in the conference championship, made a decision to let all three of their QBs - Keenum, Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater - test free agency.

Sources told NFL Network and ESPN Tuesday that Cousins will sign a three-year, fully-guaranteed contract with the NFC North franchise.

As it stands, though, expect the Jets to be prominently involved in looking for a young signal caller with their top pick after apparently missing out on Cousins. Kubiak coached Keenum for two seasons (2013-2014) when Kubiak was the Texans head coach. And they could also draft a quarterback at No. 6 (or higher). In 2016, when Trevor Siemian unexpectedly beat out veteran Mark Sanchez and first-round draft pick Paxton Lynch to win the Broncos' starting quarterback job, Elway almost acquired Keenum in a trade from the Los Angeles Rams but backed off.

And while some may say Cousins should have opted for another year or two of security, it would have been a mirage if it weren't fully guaranteed.
