Keenum Preparing to Sign with Denver

Broncos expected to sign free agent quarterback Case Keenum

Report: QB Case Keenum leaving Vikings to sign with Broncos

Keenum is a player the Broncos know well because Kubiak, now the Broncos' senior personnel adviser, coached him for two seasons while he was head coach of the Houston Texans.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - For the second time in the past seven years, the Denver Broncos have roared into free agency to fix a quarterback problem.

Stefon Diggs of the Minnesota Vikings leaps to catch the ball thrown by Case Keenum in the fourth quarter of the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on January 14, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Next, Keenum landed with the Rams, transitioning from St. Louis back to the squad's ancestral home of Los Angeles - and while he showed some flashes, the managed a 7-7 record in fourteen starts.

Philippines' Duterte moves to quit International Criminal Court
The preliminary investigation is still ongoing as of Wednesday, according to the ICC page on Duterte's 'war on drugs' campaign. Created in 1998 through the Rome Statute, the ICC has jurisdiction over 124 of its members, including the Philippines.

However, with the Vikings one of the major contenders for Kirk Cousins' signature, Keenum has been looking to cash in on his status of last year's stellar campaign and the Broncos look to be his landing spot.

Appearing on ESPN early Tuesday morning, Schefter said, "barring some last-minute setback in negotiations", the 30-year-old Keenum is headed to Denver. This could be his best option as he would get a chance to start for a team that is developing a rookie and showcases his skills for the following offseason. Re-signing last year's starter, Josh McCown, could round out the Jets' quarterback room. There were some things that we should have done, that we should have done differently that we didn't do.

With Keenum on board, the Broncos are expected to keep Paxton Lynch as their backup quarterback and possibly trade Trevor Siemian. Patriots' Tackle, Nate Solder, should be their top target but there's a decent crop of free agent offensive linemen out there so one player won't be make-or-break. "But I feel like we can get right back in the thick of things pretty quickly". The Broncos have missed the playoffs in each of the past two seasons, and at the moment, linebacker Von Miller is the only former Broncos draft pick on the roster who has been named to a Pro Bowl.

That doesn't appeal to me for a team that constantly preaches it will not rebuild.
