Kenzo on Taylor Swift's controversial video: 'It's hard to stay fresh'

On Monday, the musician released the video for her song, "Delicate", and it didn't take Twitter users long to point out that it looks pretty similar to a almost 4-minute ad Spike Jonze directed for Kenzo World perfume in 2016 starring actress Margaret Qualley.

Jonze's Kenzo video featured Margaret Qualley ducking out of a glitzy gala to go choreographically berserk.

Taylor collaborated with her frequent music video director Joseph Kahn for the new visual.

The fourth song from Reputation to get a video, "Delicate" features Swift suddenly realizing she's invisible and using that new freedom for her fame to shimmy through a hotel lobby, dance barefoot in a subway station, and run in the rain.

They pointed out there appeared to be some similarities to a Kenzo perfume advert, directed by U.S. producer and actor Spike Jonze, which was released a year ago. In the "Delicate" video, Taylor plays an worldwide superstar who becomes invisible at a fancy event. "The setting, color palette, choreography, everything", one person wrote.
