North Korea foreign minister to take rare diplomatic trip to Sweden

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho plans to visit Sweden, the Swedish foreign ministry has said, raising the possibility that his trip might be aimed at contacting USA officials ahead of a proposed summit between the two countries.

Early this week, the Swedish Foreign Ministry said the two ministers would discuss Sweden's consular responsibilities on behalf of the U.S., Canada and Australia, without disclosing the details.
