BioShock: Infinite was the latest title in the franchise, and the first person shooter was instantly hailed for its incredible journey into Rapture with stunningly detailed characters and immersive twists. Many devs from Hangar 13 have moved on or joined the Park Side studio and everyone was kept in dark until it was revealed that the game they are working on is BioShock.
Buried within a lengthy Kotaku story on the current less-than-ideal state of things at Mafia 3 developer Hangar 13 is an interesting tidbit about another 2K game you may have heard of.
Whilst the following is a stretch, signs are pointing at the secret studio being made up of Hanger 13 and BioShock-affiliated 2K Marin members.
Despite having not been seen on consoles since 2013's BioShock Infinite, there appears to be a brand-new Bioshock game in the works, headed up by a top-secret 2K studio team. In the years since, news relating to the BioShock franchise has been quiet. "It was all very tight-lipped".

Chances are slim that Ken Levine, who was the director of the previous games, would be working on a new entry in the franchise as his studio Ghost Story Games (previously Irrational games, although still affiliated with 2K) is probably too small to take on an AAA title. What little evidence is available at present though, seems to point in that direction.
