"US president, United Kingdom prime minister and the president of France are criminals", Khamenei said in a speech cited by Iranian TV.

Israel's Channel 10 TV said the Iranian drone was launched from the T4 base and marked the first time Iran directly attacked Israel, rather than through Hezbollah.

Russian Federation and Iran, both allies of the Bashar Al-Assad regime in Syria, strongly condemned the joint strikes carried out in Syria by the United States, France and Britain on April 14.

"They (the USA and its allies) will not gain from their raid on Syria, as they did not benefit from their crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria over the past years", he added.

Also, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned Saturday that the USA -led attack on Syria will result in "further destruction" of the region. "They had no role", Khamenei said.

Iran is the major regional ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. A top Pentagon official, Lieutenant General Kenneth McKenzie, said the action would set back Syria's chemical weapons program "for years".

"The use of chemical weapons crosses a red line that humanity can no longer tolerate", Yoav Gallant, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's security cabinet, said on Twitter.

Aldrich, the lawyer of Soul'd Out Music Festival , released a statement regarding the matter. She couldn't perform past year because of certain health issues.

Israel responded with a broad wave of strikes against a dozen Syrian and Iranian targets in Syria.

Russia, another major supporter of the Assad regime, has also denounced the USA -led airstrikes.

Iranian Defence Minister Hossein Dehghan said: "The Syrian people will certainly answer these attacks and the people of the world should condemn this aggression", Fars news agency reported.

It held the USA and its allies responsible for the consequences of this adventure, indicating that Tehran rejects the use of chemical weapons as well as making it as a pretext to attack a sovereign state.

The United States and European allies launched airstrikes on Saturday against Syrian research, storage and military targets under the pretext of a suspected chemical attack near Damascus last weekend that killed more than 40 people.

Syria and Russian Federation said the latest attack, which killed 14 people, was also carried out by Israel, which declined to comment.

Israel and Hezbollah fought a monthlong war in 2006.
