First Warning Forecast: Tracking storms overnight, strong to severe possible

FOX4 Weather Forecast: Warming trend ahead

Expect more thundery showers in next 2 weeks

South winds start to pick up tonight with gusts to 25 miles per hour.

Monday will still be fairly nice with highs in the low 80s, but winds will be increasing out of the south-southeast around 15-25 & gusting. Rain and snow showers will be likely through out the day especially in northwest Montana. Wednesday night will be wet. Another round of rain is in the forecast and you can read about the timing of that below. Despite the breeze will feel warm with lengthy sunny spells, although cloud may increase in western parts later. We could see an inch and a half of snow by the time this massive storm system moves east.

A few passing clouds Wednesday and a couple of showers possible Wednesday night with a much weaker cold front passing through. Our average high temperatures are in the upper 50s to lower 60s so we will be slightly below average.

Bismarck police arrest man for threatening 4 officers
Police attempted to pull the auto over but the driver refused to stop, got out of the vehicle and fled. Instead of stopping, police say he put his truck in reverse and drove away "at a high rate of speed".

West winds will stay gusty before diminishing this afternoon.

Right now, looks like sunny and spring-like temperatures will continue into next weekend, with rain by late Sunday. Southwest winds will be 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. I have us dry Tuesday night. So we will enjoy drier conditions underneath clear skies today and most of tomorrow as well. A very quiet spell of weather is shaping up from Friday right through early next week as a high pressure system parks itself in our region.
