Fourth installment of 'xXx' movie in the works

Vin Diesel Acquires Film Rights for xXx Franchise, Will Star in xXx 4

This isn't even the first franchise Diesel owns the rights to, as he acquired the rights to his Riddick franchise upon his return to the Furious films.

During my time at Paramount I was lucky to be involved in the development and distribution of xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Vin Diesel launched the franchise in 2002 with "xXx", but stepped away as Ice Cube failed to hit the xXx spot for the less well-received "xXx: State of the Union" in 2005.

Rumors of a fourth entry came not long after Return, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Diesel's return also involves his production company One Race Films becoming a co-owner of the franchise. "Bringing the next installment of the xXx franchise to The H Collective complements our diversified slate and mission to produce content for a global audience". Also, rumour has it that Deepika may land a role in the film. Box office numbers though show that I seem to clearly be in the minority though as many people seem to love watching Vin Diesel do big dumb things, and I have no doubt that if they follow the same formula from the last movie that this fourth installment will be a success as well.

Police said the expect to meet with the prosecutor's office Thursday to determine additional charges. The couple, from Michigan City, were in Merrillville for a medical appointment, police said.

Once Diesel signed on for the 12-years-later three-quel xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, the series fell back into good fortune, grossing $346 million worldwide.

Whatever the fourth XXX movie ends up being called, it films in December with DJ Caruso at the helm.

"The third explosive chapter of the blockbuster franchise that redefined the spy thriller finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora's Box". In India too, the film fared well at the box office despite negative reviews.
