"We've got a lot of work to get done before September 9".
Flex scheduling always plays a part, so the Chiefs might find themselves in the spotlight even more than this, but at the very least, the team will face several tough games under the lights on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights this year.
The Los Angeles Rams will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football from Mexico City on November 19, the Rams announced Wednesday, one day before the NFL unveils the rest of the 2018 regular-season schedule.
Pittsburgh police ordered to bring riot gear in case Trump fires Mueller
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters last week that Trump believes he has the power to fire Mueller. President Donald Trump has appeared to back off of two key figures in the Russian Federation investigation, for now.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams will play in Mexico City next season, it was confirmed on Wednesday. The final quarter of the season features a home game against the Baltimore Ravens on December 9, before a Thursday night contest at Arrowhead Stadium versus the Chargers on December 13. Since returning to Los Angeles, the Rams and Chargers have only met in preseason action (2017).
The Chargers also are not scheduled for any Sunday night games this season. As everyone knows, the Rams would go on to become one of the best stories from the 2017 season on their way to winning the NFC West title, setting the bar at a whole new level heading into 2018. In the ensuing week, L.A. will face off against the Denver Broncos for the first time since 2014.
London calling: The Chargers will play in London for the first time in a decade on October 21 against the Tennessee Titans at Wembley Stadium. Well, the Chiefs are only home for one of those games as well. Additionally, in Weeks 5-10, flexible scheduling may be used in no more than two weeks. Included are games against the Cardinals, Broncos, Packers, Saints and Bears. Historically, the Rams have achieved significant offensive milestones against the Saints, including Willie Ellison's franchise-leading 247 rushing yards in 1971 and Willie "Flipper" Anderson's National Football League record-setting performance of 336 receiving yards in 1989.
In the third week of the season, the Chiefs will finally host their season opener with the San Francisco 49ers coming to town. Then following the team's Week 12 bye, Los Angeles will play three of their final five games on the road, including back-to-back games against members of the NFC North (at Detroit-Week 13, at Chicago-Week 14).
