Several Serious Sam VR games have also been released since previous year. We've got just under two very long months to wait before learning more about the game, but Croteam and Devolver Digital will be dropping more details about Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass at E3.
The announcement was accompanied by the game's first trailer, which we've included below.
Serious Sam 4 was first hinted at back in 2013, when a Croteam sale through Humble mentioned that all proceeds would go towards funding the game.
Stanley Cup Playoffs: Three Takeaways from Tampa Bay's Win in Game 4
But, if you ask Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper, quarterbacks and goalies have a lot more in common than you may think. The difference in the game was the fact that Andrei Vasilevskiy was the best penalty killer for the Lightning in Game 4.
The Steam page reveals quite a bit about the game, including that following on the heels of Serious Sam: BFE, the Steam Workshop support will be making a return, along with both local and online cooperative play.
The teaser trailer is running in-engine on Croteam's latest version of the Serious Engine.

The franchise will continue living, and we're expecting more news to come during E3 2018, as Croteam has stated that they will participate it. The logo for the game also curiously depicts eight other people standing around Sam, which might allude to the inclusion of a multiplayer element in the game.
