North Africa included in PUBG's first official esports tournament

Miramar will be available for play by anyone who owns PUBG on Xbox One, but it won't be accessible through the main client.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds second map, the desert-themed Miramar, will be available on Xbox One test servers tomorrow.

The planned changes are coming soon to the Test Server first, and when determined to be stable, shall be implemented across the public servers for all to make use of. While no date was given for the big update, this comes alongside Brendan Greene's statement about bringing bigger, and maybe even some smaller, maps to his popular Battle Royale title.

The PUBG Global Invitational will see the production team utilise PUBG's in-game camera system, allowing them to zoom in on any action that takes place. Players are warned that this is an early test and that, as such, "some aspects may not function as expected". But adjustments could be made "depending on how the test goes".

Throughout the test, the team is planning to divvy up "bug bounty" award as well: 150 players who report bugs will pick up some special "swaggy" in-game items. Here's a cheat sheet...
