The NES Classic Edition will return next month

For those who are not very familiar, NES Classic Edition consists of 30 games, which includes Metroid, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Donkey Kong.

According to a report on The Verge, Nintendo will be releasing an additional wave of NES Classic video game consoles later this year.

It also makes you wonder if Nintendo could potentially release the NES and SNES Classics in "digital" form on Switch; presented as download for a reasonable price, we're sure many would buy this collection a second time simply to have access to all those awesome games on the go. Just don't confuse it with Nintendo's rumoured SNES Classic, the follow-up console.
