There's no word yet on how many episodes will be ordered or if Marvel's Agents of SHIELD will air on Friday nights once again next season. It hasn't yet been determined if Season 6 will be the show's last, but no doubt the showrunners would like to know beforehand if they're crafting an endgame or if there's hope for the show to continue on past Season 6 with shorter seasons.
Could this be to avoid any spoiler conflict with Avengers 4? Regardless, fans can breathe a sigh of relief that the series will indeed return, if in a more abbreviated form.
Pushing the show to summer 2019 could solve all those problems.
Project Maven: Nearly a dozen Google employees have reportedly quit in protest
According to one resigning employee, "Actions speak louder than words, and that's a standard I hold myself to as well". I realised if I can't recommend people join here, then why am I still here?" a resigning Google employee said.
According to EW, ABC president Channing Dungey announced today that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 will air in Summer 2019. And how will Friday's finale tie into the events of Avengers: Infinity War?
The series revolves around the character of Phil Coulson, with Clark Gregg reprising his role from the film series, and his team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, who must deal with various unusual cases and enemies, including Hydra and the Inhumans. Next season will be only 13 episodes instead of the 20 something they have been getting and that has been my biggest complaint. It's all just theories for now, but never forget #itsallconnected.
With the film, which will certainly find a way to reverse Thanos' power play and bring back some, if not all, of the universe, set to hit theaters weeks before the end of the traditional broadcast TV season, it'll be the ideal opportunity for S.H.I.E.L.D.
