Recently retired Dallas Cowboys TE Jason Witten was on Adam Schefter's podcast when he revealed which team his former teammate would sign to during the offseason. He said that Green Bay would make sense for Bryant, but that at this time the Packers do not appear to be interested in bringing the former star receiver on board.

Bryant, meanwhile, turned down a potential contract with the Baltimore Ravens as he continues to seek a one-year deal, ideally with a team in the NFC East.

When asked about Dez Bryant and his future in the NFL, Jason Witten said he believes that he will have some "great opportunities".

Witten mentioned quarterback play and a chance to contend for a title as reasons why Bryant would gravitate toward the Packers, but it takes two to tango. "Aaron Rodgers, he throws that back-shoulder throw so well, and Dez [can have] great chemistry with a good quarterback that can put the ball wherever he wants".

Judge: Mueller can prosecute Manafort
He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges, none of which are directly related to work he performed for Mr Trump's campaign. Ellis, said he believed prosecutors were using the charges against Manafort to try to get him to turn against Trump.

"I still think Dez can still high-point the football as good as any other wide receiver in the National Football League". Bryant would be an interesting fit with the Packers - Graham, Dez and Davante Adams would be pretty hard to defend. Even more are anxious that the Packers don't have enough weapons for Aaron Rodgers to use.

The talented trio of Cobb, Davante Adams, and newcomer Jimmy Graham is a solid group of targets for Rodgers as Green Bay tries to bounce back from missing the playoffs previous year. That left a starting outside spot open across from Davante Adams, with Randall Cobb occupying the slot.

The Packers drafted three wide receivers in the recent NFL Draft though they lack established options with Jordy Nelson released and signing for Oakland Raiders. Bryant has regressed since signing a five-year extension with the Cowboys before the 2015 season, failing to reach the 1,000-yard mark and double-digit touchdowns in the past three seasons.

Bailey missed four games with a groin injury last season and only made 75 percent of his field goal attempts when he was healthy.
