It has now been confirmed when this mode will end. There hasn't been an update on when this downtime will now take place, though Epic has stated that it will be informing players when the developer has a time nailed down.

There's no word from Epic Games as to whether this is an issue that's being worked on, but knowing the studio it won't be long until there's some news, or a patch.

Today will also mark the beginning of Fortnite Week 3 challenges but since the Fortnite Patch 4.2 has been delayed, you can expect a few hiccups with the patch roll out.

Discussions to include Thanos in Fortnite actually came about due to Infinity War co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo being big fans of the game.

According to the Daily Express, stats have given away some higher intel on the weapon after datamining, claiming it can inflict 32 damage and the magazine holds 30 bullets (a decrease on the legendary version's 33 damage). That said, this weapon also appeared in Modern Warfare 2.

Fortnite servers were meant to go down at 9am United Kingdom time today to prepare the hit online game for update 4.2.

Taking to Twitter earlier today the game's official account tweeted: "We've discovered an issue that's going to delay the release of v4.2".

Seems in mere moments some will be able to jump back on board and experience 4.2, though.
