iPhone X luxury battery case with integrated solar panel hits market, but costs 4x phone price

Yup, this is an iPhone X case that it more than four times what the phone itself is worth.

Caviar, the Russian accessory maker of gold iPhone editions engraved with Vladimir Putin's or Donald Trump's head, or even both of them together, has released a solar-powered iPhone X "Tesla".

The case is made of carbon fiber and the panel is shock-resistant. You do get IP67 water and dust resistance for that money, but it won't make toast in the morning.

Meanwhile, the case that holds the solar panel reportedly does not seem to be removable as it appears to be directly connected to the actual iPhone X body. It will be the only version that has the words "Made on Earth by humans" in honor of Musk's own marketing stunt earlier this year when he launched a Tesla Roadster into space on the back of Space X's Falcon Heavy rocket. The 7.7mm thickness of the device more than doubles to 16.2mm, eliminating the camera bump.

As first spotted by AppleInsider, the iPhone X "Tesla" appears to be significantly thicker at 16.2mm than its USA -made counterpart's 7.7mm.

New multiplayer mode also announced
You'll be able to team up with other players, building structures together, remaining permanent for all other players to see. Nonetheless, the new update contains a handful of important software tweaks and we're going to present them right now.

The base model which features a 64GB iPhone X is priced at around $4,500 while the 256GB model will retail for $4,800. Caviar's site also offers free delivery to your city, but notes that local taxes and custom duties are not included in the price.

The company says high demand prompted them to increase the initial run order from 99 units to just under a thousand units.

It costs a whopping $4,500 dollars or $4,8000 if you want 256 GB of storage.

As the name implies, the case is said to be inspired by Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and of course, Nikola Tesla.

Caviar branded the smartphone the iPhone X 'Tesla.' However, the solar functions aren't built into the phone.
