Iran Rejects Russian Demand To Withdraw Troops From Syria

Iran to remain in Syria as long as Damascus needs: spokesman

"Any outside aggression against the Syrian territory is an aggression", Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riad Haddad told reporters in the Russian city of Sevastopol on Saturday. Syrian state media denied a deal was reached to evacuate the militants.
