Following the CNN report in which eight women accused Morgan Freeman of sexual harassment, Visa has chose to pull its marketing materials featuring the actor.

"Visa will be suspending our marketing in which the actor is featured", Visa said.

While Freeman has appeared in and provided voice-overs for numerous credit card company's commercials over the years, Visa revealed that they are no longer using the 80-year-old actor in any of their marketing in a statement given to HollywoodLife.

Morgan Freeman's voice over has been removed from Canadian public transport adverts after the actor was accused of sexual harassment.

In the report published by CNN, several women - including production assistants, office workers and journalists - said that Mr. Freeman had engaged in inappropriate behavior, ranging from unwanted touching to suggestive comments that made them feel uncomfortable.

"We will be in touch with Visa to discuss further", TransLink said in a statement early on Thursday.

Visa also made a statement Thursday distancing itself from Freeman.

"The level of accusations levelled against him are serious and do have a significant impact on women using city transportation and getting around the city", Ms. Russell said.

Drews emphasized that the announcements were ads that VISA had bought from TransLink, and not an initiative from TransLink itself. In light of this reporting, Translink has put a pause the voice announcements from Freeman, according to Vancouver Sun.

Following a fan's request for Canada-born actor Seth Rogen to cover Freeman's voiceover duties for TransLink, Rogen suggested Thursday that "if they need a replacement now let me know". TransLink replied to the actor on Twitter, offering to start a direct-message conversation.
