Chinese tech giant Xiaomi Thursday rolled out its new flagship Mi8 smartphone, which is the world's first dual-frequency GPS smartphone with outstanding positioning capabilities.

The Mi 8 Explorer is the first smartphone since the iPhone X to feature infrared face scanning technology, enabling it to build 3D models of a user's face.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is priced at 1799 yuan for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant costs 1999 yuan. The Mi 8 SE will be available in China starting from June 8th.
