Nabil Fekir is wanted by Liverpool.

The news had cast doubt over the deal, with suggestions that Liverpool could be priced out of the move and may look at alternatives.

It is clear to see why Liverpool are so determined to secure a move for Fekir, with the 24-year-old having produced some outstanding performances for Lyon last season.

Eurosport and Canal Plus sports journalist and soon to be Liverpool hero Romain Collet-Gaudin has tweeted that a deal between the attacker and the Merseyside club is close, just a medical to be had.

Nabil Fekir's agent insists he has not travelled to Liverpool for talks and has warned Jurgen Klopp's side that they could be beaten in the race to sign the Lyon midfielder.

Microsoft may be considering GitHub acquisition
As of last fall, GitHub was well on its way to make more than $200 million in subscription revenue. Deal talks between the two companies were first reported by Business Insider on Friday .

Reports from France indicating that the Frenchman would have a medical at Melwood on Sunday were wide of the mark with Liverpool "not anticipating any such significant movement this weekend".

"We will go with Nabil to Liverpool or elsewhere, only when there will be an agreement with the Lyon and they me the green light", stated Bernes, in quotes appearing on Le Progres.

Even still, it appears that manager Jurgen Klopp is going for "overkill", as French worldwide Fekir looks set for an Anfield move this transfer window, just a medical to go.

Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are noted as other interested parties, but Fekir's agent recently said there had been no contact with the German club.

If the Reds do in fact manage to bring both Fekir and Cillessen to Anfield, in addition to the two signings that they have already made, it would constitute an absolute dream summer for them.
