John Beilein, the head coach of the University of MI men's basketball team, tweeted Wednesday that he's excited about coaching for U of M for years to come. He is now signed through the 2020-21 season at $3.37 million per year. On Wednesday morning, Beilein took to Twitter and said he loves the University of MI.
Beilein coached MI to the national title game this past season, and he emerged on NBA radars because of his ability to develop players.
On Wednesday evening, after Beilein's tweet, Manuel released a statement: "We are thrilled that John Beilein will be our coach now and into the future".
