Sons of Anarchy actor Alan O'Neill, who played Hugh in the sixth and seventh seasons of the FX biker television series, has died.
The late actor's body was found in the hallway of his girlfriend's Los Angeles apartment on Wednesday night, law enforcement sources told TMZ on Thursday.
Along with appearing in "Sons of Anarchy", the Irish-born actor, who started his career in the '90s, also played Keith McGrath in "My Fair City" and had a role in Pierce Brosnan's 2016 film, "Urge". O'Neill was described as a heavy smoker with a history of heart issues, and a previous history of drug and alcohol abuse. No cause of death has been determined, though no foul play is suspected. He is also known for his work in the Irish TV series, Fair City.

O'Neill's agent, Annette Walsh, offered condolences to his partner, children, family, and friends on the loss of a "brilliant, funny, and kind human being". "May he rest in peace".
