Temperatures are going to soar back into the middle 90s by the early afternoon thanks to some sunshine and a south wind gusting to 25 miles per hour at times. Widespread severe storms are not expected, but some areas could see hail and strong winds this afternoon and evening.
That means hot, humid air and the daily chance of afternoon rain and storms.
Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. This will bring more chances of showers and storms for the start of the workweek.
We're pretty much picking up right where we left off this weekend as dry weather prevails to kick off this work week.

Justify achieved one of the sports' toughest feats 45 years to the day that Secretariat won the Belmont by a record 31 lengths. In doing so, he emulated Baffert's American Pharoah, who in 2015 was the first to land all three races since Affirmed in 1978.
Wed: High: 83 Low: 67 Mostly cloudy; scattered showers & storms.
By Thursday and Friday, only isolated showers and storms will develop mainly in the higher elevations. A steady wind from the east socks us in with clouds as highs struggle to the upper 60s to near 70.
We'll continue to monitor the rain chances throughout the week. Highs will be in the mid 80's with lows in the mid 60's. Beyond Wednesday, rain chances become minimal as high temperatures creep back into the 90s for the second half of the week.
Tomorrow night: By evening the bulk of the shower activity should be moving off to the south, although we could still see a lingering shower into the overnight.
