The raccoon became stranded on a ledge of the Town Square office building a couple days ago, according to MPR News reporter Tim Nelson.

A raccoon ended up in a most precarious place near the top of the UBS building. At one point, a small crowd had gathered on the street to see what would happen next.

Not prepared to take a hint, it headed to the neighboring UBS tower - one of the tallest buildings in the city.

At the 23rd floor, it stopped for a nap, allowing time for more photos.

We certainly hope this all ends happily, but we can't say exactly when that will be.

St. Paul Animal Control believes it may have been there all night before starting its climb.
