Kaitlyn Strom was attending the Winstock Country Music Festival with friends in the United States when she hit upon a novel idea - sticking her head in a truck exhaust pipe. As it turns out, this also implied having one drink too many - enough to get her thinking sticking her head in a large truck's exhaust pipe would be the most awesome thing she could do.
While the owner of the truck wasn't mad, local police charged Ms Strom with underage drinking and had to be escorted out of the music festival.
Video of the rescue was posted on Facebook by Billy Little, and has since been watched over 2 million times. The fire chief says he was told it was the second time the young woman had put her head in the tailpipe that day. "So I tried it".
"(I was) kind of confused because I didn't know what was going on, because I couldn't see around me", Strom said, "But I trusted everyone who was around that I knew to get me out safely".

The teen said she was stuck for about 45 minutes and had a brief medical check up immediately after.
No word on whether the truck owner billed her out for the unexpected mods.
"I'm just brushing it off, because that's expected to happen", she said.
"I remember getting my head unstuck, and I just looked at him and apologised, and he said, "No, I'm just glad you're OK".
