XXXTentacion Cause of Death: How Did Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy Die?

On Monday, XXXTentacion was "shopping for motorcyles in South Florida" and as he was leaving the store, "a gunman ran up to his vehicle and shot him", according to TMZ.

The Broward Co. Fire Dept. confirmed XXXTentacion had been rushed to hospital following the incident.

Cellphone video taken at the scene shows the unconscious rapper in the driver's seat of his auto after the shooting.

Earlier in the afternoon Monday, the rapper posted a message to his Instagram Story that read, "planning a charity event for this weekend Florida!"

According to emergency dispatch audio obtained by The Blast, officials believe the shooting was a possible drive-by after witnesses reported hearing several gunshots. He was now awaiting a trial where he faced 15 charges for alleged domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend and witness tampering.

Fans expressed shock and sadness on social media and offered prayers for the rapper, flooding Twitter with tributes and condolences.

After speculation that Mesut Ozil would be dropped for Germany's clash against Mexico, Joachim Low gives playmaker the nod. All eyes will be on West Ham striker Javier Hernandez who has a trio of World Cup goals to his name in two tournaments.

The artist, born Jahseh Onfroy, reportedly had a Louis Vuitton bag stolen from his vehicle as well.

XXXTentacion began recording in 2013 and found mainstream success with his 2017 debut album 17, which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned some minor-hit singles.

The late 20 year old had been charged with domestic battery, aggravated battery of a pregnant female as well as false imprisonment.

"A subsequent tweet said", "next time make sure you kill me so I can't talk (expletive)". In March, a judge ruled that XXXTentacion could be released from house arrest in order to tour in support of his new album.

Last month, Spotify removed XXXTentacion's music from its curated playlists, but that decision was reversed on June 1.
