Fournier's message soon went viral, leading to angry consumers threatening to boycott the company.

The "Impeach 45" clothes are no longer on the site, but a large selection of pro-Trump items are still for sale.

Walmart Inc.'s (WMT.N) website is selling t-shirts from third-party sellers with "IMPEACH 45" emblazoned across the front in big capital letters - a call to bring down the 45th USA president, Donald Trump. "#BoycottWalmart", wrote Twitter user MarLee (@Mar_Lee_C). "This is despicable. All American Walmart?"

Facebook bug unblocked 'blocked'
However, because of the bug, someone who was unblocked could have been able to message a user who had blocked them in the past. Crucially, if someone had been unblocked, they could have been able to contact the person who blocked them on Messenger.

"We're removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies", a representative for Walmart said via email.

A search for "Make America Great Again" apparel yielded more than a million results including plenty of hats, T-shirts and coffee mugs as well.

This isn't the first time Walmart has encountered backlash for selling political items. Last year, the retailer came under fire after a third-party seller offered t-shirts that suggested killing journalists. "Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED." that was being sold from its online store previous year.

The shirt was removed from the store's website after the Radio Television Digital News Association sent a letter to the company about the shirt, according to the group.
