Kylie Jenner makes Forbes list of 'self-made' billionaires

Kylie Jenner poised to become youngest billionaire ever

Kylie Jenner set to become the youngest self-made billionaire on Forbes list

According to the outlet, Jenner has amassed $900 million dollars since launching the brand less than three years ago, which makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America's Richest Self-Made Women.

And let's not sleep on this, her momager Kris Jenner no doubt is set for a hefty chunk of the change.

The superstar has over 110 million followers on Instagram and millions more on Snapchat; many of these are young women and girls who look to Kylie for advice and recommendations.

In 2016, Kylie Cosmetics debuted with a $29 "lip kit" (for the uninitiated, it's a matching lipstick and liner duo), and, according to Forbes, she has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup since - including an estimated $330 million in 2017 alone. Kylie - who owns 100% of the company, now worth almost $800 billion - credits social media for helping her build such a massive following of customers.

Of course, it all started with her now-infamous "Kylie Lip Kits", which she reportedly trademarked when she was just 17.

Simona Halep stunned by Su-Wei Hsieh in Wimbledon third round
Top-ranked Simona Halep has been knocked out by Hsieh Su-Wei of Taiwan at Wimbledon, losing 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the third round. Two-time champion Rafael Nadal reached the last 16 for the eighth time, making sure of keeping the world number one ranking.

Last month, ET caught up with Kim at the launch of her KKW Beauty and Fragrance pop-up shop in Los Angeles, where she revealed how her and husband Kanye West's eldest daughter, 5-year-old North, is already making her own beauty decisions.

Her sister Kim Kardashian, who propelled the family to fame with her sex tape with Ray-J before the whole family went on to score a reality TV show, congratulated Kylie with fire emojis earlier today and sharing the front cover. "It could easily be an instant game-changing acquisition for any company on the hunt for a winning brand with a younger customer", senior VP or merchandising at Ulta Tara Simon said. Another year of growth will make her the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

"I struggled for a minute with finding something to do on my own", Jenner said, before adding, "ever since I was in sixth grade, I would wear purple eye shadow". Using its standard formulation, Forbes values the company at $800 million, and Kylie is the sole owner.

"Before I even refreshed the page, everything was sold out", Jenner said. I do feel like people don't take me seriously as a businesswoman because of my age and my reputation. It called her business' overhead costs "minuscule".
