His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, his grandparents, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were in attendance among others.

The UK hosted the christening of the third child of Prince William and Kate Middleton three months with Prince Louis.

The family were heading off for a private afternoon tea at Clarence House after Prince Louis' christening when, absolutely hilariously, the little princess didn't drop eye contact with the member of press who was getting pictures outside the Royal Chapel at St James's Palace.

The six godparents of Prince Louis including Guy Pelly, Nicholas van Cutsem, Lady Laura Meade, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Robert Carter and Lucy Middleton also graced the ceremony.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress by her go-to designer Alexander McQueen for the occasion, finishing the look with a hat by Jane Taylor.

The duchess also wore cream for the christening of her first son, George, sporting a higher-necked dress with a ruffle and leaving her long hair down and loose.

She carried Prince Louis, who wore a replica of the honition lace gown made in 1841 for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter.

Charlotte, 3, was dressed in a blue floral frock, wearing her hair parted in the middle the princess wore a blue headband that had a bow attached at the top.

Royal watchers were equally excited to see the young royal couples - Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Kate Middleton - together again.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave major relationship goals at their fairytale wedding.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte entered holding their father Prince William, 36, hands, while their mother, Kate Middleton followed behind holding Prince Louis in her arms.

Photographer Matt Holyoak, who photographed the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on their 70th wedding anniversary, will do the honours at Monday's ceremony.

What a magnificent (and elegant) way to welcome tiny Prince Louis to the faith and the royal family.
