"Skyscraper" has some bad dialogue, obvious plot twists, a handful of shallow characters, absurd action set pieces, and I can't count the number of times Johnson's character should have died, but this movie is meant to give you an escape and entertain you for an hour and 40 minutes, and it did just that for me.
