President Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to deny that he knew about his son's meeting in Trump Tower in June 2016, following news that his longtime attorney Michael Cohen is willing to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that the presidential candidate knew about the meeting in advance. He even retained Bill and Crooked Hillary's lawyer. "Gee, I wonder if they helped him make the choice!"

But according to CNN and NBC, Trump's former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, who is under investigation and has fallen out with the president, claims he was present when Donald Jr. told his father about the Russians' offer to meet, and that Trump approved of it.

Alas, Trump denies that he knew about the meeting in advance.

Giuliani called Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer, "honorable" and truthful on several occasions before an audio recording of a discussion between Cohen and Trump about buying rights to a Playboy model's story about an alleged affair Trump took part in became publicized.

"It seems to me the worst that you could say, assuming that Cohen is telling the truth now, is that Donald Trump lied back in 2017", Mr. Wallace said Friday. Donald Trump Jr.'s own emails and congressional testimony revealed that he was very eager about the prospect of receiving dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Williams was asked about the findings of the report during Wimbledon earlier this summer. "I was just like: "That's just weird". The top 20 players have been tested a combined six times, the same amount of times as Williams.

Cohen reached out to ex-Trump aide Steven Bannon, according to the report, who has, like Cohen, been exiled from the president's inner circle.

Federal prosecutors in NY are investigating Mr Cohen for possible bank and tax fraud, and for possible campaign law violations linked to a $130,000 ($AU169,000) payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, a person familiar with the investigation said.

Cohen did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters. A list of potential questions for Trump compiled by the president's legal team following conversations with investigators and released earlier this year made clear that Mueller is interested in some of Trump's tweets to the extent they raise obstruction of justice concerns. I told Rob that Jared Kushner and our newly hired campaign manager Paul Manafort would likely also attend. He now seems to be pointing a gun at Mr Trump's head.

But in the taped conversation, which came two months before the election, Trump did not express any surprise about the deal. "I'm starting to think Trump doesn't hire all the best people", he joked, laughing.

Instead she used the meeting to argue for the relaxation of US sanctions against Russia that drove President Vladimir Putin to retaliate - in part by banning Americans from adopting Russian children. How stupid and unfair to our Country, ' he tweeted Friday.
