Rodrigo Duterte commits to war on illegal drugs in Philippines State of the Union address

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte vowed on Monday to intensify his administration's war on illegal drugs, saying the fight against drug dealers and users is "far from over".

MILF leaders will explain how the new Bangsamoro government will be different from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao system, and how the new setup will benefit the Moros, he said.

"We need this for sustainable growth that leaves no Filipino left behind", Duterte said.

Murad admitted that they have not yet accounted for all weapons, noting that there are three categories of weapons - those owned by the organization, those owned by combatants themselves, and those owned by civilians that the organization can use in case of war.
