The Cleveland Browns have been at the front of that list in recent weeks, too, but it's been very unclear as to whether a deal will get done - or even if there's mutual interest there.

One Instagram user, nevertheless, thought that Bryant's tweets during the Browns' preseason opener were out of necessity, rather than a want to play for the team.

Some reports have said Bryant had no interest in Cleveland, other reports said the Browns weren't sure.

The first date isn't set just yet, and if the two sides decide to consummate the relationship remains to be seen.

It appears, for now, the Browns will bring in wide receivers next week and it won't include Bryant unless he has a change of heart.

Deadline day round-up: Kovacic in at Chelsea, all quiet at Manchester United
Starting off the season well is key for any club, and the pressure is on Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho . Although they are in the market for a centre-back, the Red Devils now appear to have withdrawn from the race.

If Bryant and Dorsey can't agree on whether they've talked, how can they hash out mutually acceptable contract terms?

A couple of hours later, Bryant had reconsidered and tweeted his decision that he was "starting my visits next week", including with Cleveland.

It seems, though, that Bryant is starting to run out of time to land with a team. At the same time, he noted on Twitter that he is "going to play" this season, but that it'll happen "whenever I get ready".

The wide receiver was released by the Cowboys in April after catching 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns in 2017.
