BLIZZARD Diablo 4 Release Date News Blizzard updates for next PS4 Xbox and PC game

Interestingly, that was not the end of it as sources close to Eurogamer revealed that Diablo 3 is very much in the works for Nintendo Switch despite Blizzard's claims that it is not.

"On behalf of the Diablo team, welcome back to Sanctuary for our newest season".

For now, Camel directed current Diablo III players to the game's 14th Season, the "Season of Greed". According to Camel, we might get a glimpse at what Blizzard's working on later this year... presumably at BlizzCon in November.

The Associate Community Manager followed on by saying they "may have some things to show [fans] later this year", but nevertheless, the "forges of Blizzard are burning hot". Additional themed Seasons are planned for 2018 and 2019. However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One didn't get Diablo III until its definitive edition, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, launched in 2014.

So whether you first joined us in Diablo 3 or you are a seasoned veteran, thank you.

Although it's not the first time we've heard about them developing a new Diablo, it's certainly the first we've been told about the amount of work being taken on.

Stay tuned for more as Blizzard discloses more on the future of Diablo. "None of this would be possible without the support that you have shown us for over 20 years", she added.
