Unai Emery sends warning to Gunners sqaud

Arsenal keeper Cech left frustrated after being mocked on Twitter over weekend gaffe

English Premier League: Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka is on strike three

New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed that Petr Cech will remain in goal for the Gunners weekend clash against Chelsea on Saturday.

The official English Twitter account of German club Bayer Leverkusen, whose former goalkeeper Bernd Leno represents Arsenal starting this season, had a cheeky reply of their own to Cech's gaffe.

A video of Cech nearly scoring an own goal as he attempted a pass across the face of his own goal started circulating on Twitter - with Leverkusen's English account getting involved.

"For Saturday, the decision for me is easy. [But] if Bernd starts, I believe in him also", Emery told a news conference on Thursday. His experience here in Arsenal and the Premier League is very important and will give us all the information and performances in his quality.

Gazidis also met with Emery's rival for the Arsenal job over the summer, Mikel Arteta, to make sure there were no hard feelings over the appointment.

"Sometimes we want to kill him and sometimes you think wow what a player we have".

And they wonder if he will next choose to target those who now work on the investigation, which Trump has called a "witch hunt". Mr Brennan, who served as Central Intelligence Agency director between 2013 and 2017, has become an outspoken Trump critic.

Emery is trying to instill a new philosophy at Arsenal as he wants his goalkeeper be playing out from the back.

He may get his best opportunities to learn alongside Torreira against those sides in the top half of the table, who will test Arsenal and apply pressure but not to a level where the Gunners are pinned under like they were against Man City.

There's no real point pairing Torreira with Xhaka, as they seem to be players who could prove to be redundant when paired together.

"Petr Cech is doing very good". With just three days to go ahead of the big game, Emery has a selection headache.

"This is the start, we need to do one process, one way". Years of management under Wenger had left the players seemingly terrified of their own shadows, abundantly aware that even the most minor error would result in condemnation from supporters and the media.
