Aaron Rodgers returns to game after being carted to Packers locker room with knee injury

After Going down to the turf and grasping his knee during the Pack's season opener against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, quarterback Aaron Rodgers headed to the team's medical tent.

Cobb was the beneficiary of a heavier reliance on the short passing game while Rodgers nursed a left knee injury.

Chicago capitalized on some early opportunities against the Packers' defense, but the unpredictability began to wear on Trubisky, who threw for only 61 yards in the second half against a defense that consistently cycled Josh Jackson, Jaire Alexander and Jermaine Whitehead in the slot cornerback positions.

"I felt like once I got back out there, when the adrenaline was going, it loosened up a little bit", Rodgers said.

A field goal drive in the third quarter finally got the Packers on the board, and then it was a virtuoso performance in the fourth that allowed them to reel in the Bears. The two-time NFL MVP threw touchdown passes on three straight possessions in the fourth quarter to turn a 20-3 deficit into a 24-23 victory. The 34-year-old managed to walk off the field with some assistance, but was carted from the sideline to the locker room shortly thereafter.

"I'm playing next week", Rodgers said as a very full night came to a close. But I just had a feeling we could spark it and get things going, and we just put together a couple drives.

Thank you, @serenawilliams, for calling out this double standard. "It was a tough thing for a chair umpire to deal with, as well". Osaka won the final but her victory was overshadowed by the on-court drama and booing of officials during the trophy ceremony.

After the game, Rodgers was asked about if he would play against their NFC North rivals.

Not again: Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued his domination of the Bears.

An offensive-minded coach, Nagy had the aggressive Bears' offense pushing the Packers around the field in the first half. The future Hall of Famer has now won 14 of the last 15 games he's started and finished against them. He also caught five passes on five targets for 25 yards.

"You figure that into Green Bay's game", Hicks said.

Rodgers' post-injury final totals were a stunning 17-of-23 for 273 yards and three touchdowns, including one emphatic chuck out of bounds to run out the final seconds.

Mitchell Trubisky was 23 of 35 for 171 yards. "At the end of the day we want to get a win, and when that doesn't happen, we're not happy".
