In terms of this dramatic image, it is confirmed that Razer Phone 2 will be present with the same design.
Popular gaming computer-maker Razer is all geared up to unveil the second generation flagship smartphone next month. It's common for such renders to have the date of launch set as the date shown on the lockscreen, though launching in October means, Razer is making a comeback, a month earlier than a year ago.
This leak seems to suggest that Razer was pretty happy with their smartphone design and they'd rather work on adjusting performance and internals instead of changing things for the sake of change. While we already came to know key specifications, we will be seeing more leaks in the coming days.
Razer Phone 2 vs Razer Phone 1
Razer has sent out invites for an event on October 10. Under the hood, the phone has Snapdragon 835 which was last year's flagship SOC packed with 4000 mAh battery.
Expected to make a return, or even be bettered is their 120Hz screen which offers a faster refresh rate, an essential tool when talking about gaming - even for mobile gaming. The invite features the iconic three-headed snake branding which is also on the back of Razer Phone.
To recall, Razer Phone (1 gen) sports a 5.7-inch IGZO LCD screen with 1,440x2560 pixels (513 ppi pixel density).
It's rumored the phone will have up to 512GB of storage and will operate using Android 8.1, or Oreo, according to Android Headlines.
