Everyone though Le'Veon Bell was the biggest distraction for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but star wide receiver Antonio Brown is giving him a run for his money.

Tomlin plans to provide Brown with a reminder on Wednesday when the team returns to practice.

On Monday, Brown did not show up to Steelers meetings and film review.

But, well, after firing off that tweet, we don't know what Brown did. We lost a football game, and there were some negative exchanges on the sideline. But not getting the ball when you were expecting it has caused similar issues for superstar wide receivers in the past.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are winless after two games in the 2018 regular season, having tied to the Cleveland Browns in Week 1 before failing to complete a comeback effort against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Nothing Brown has done off the field is helping the Steelers.

Brown's in-game behaviour has always been a flashpoint.

More diversity jokes than wins for people of color at the Emmys
Hannah Gadsby speaks onstage during the 70th Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater on September 17, 2018 in Los Angeles. The telecast could see a number of record nominations for people of colour converted into awards, some historic.

Seemingly everyone in the sports world spent the past eight months poking holes in the Patriots dynasty, salivating at each new juicy nugget that peeled back the curtain on the drama that was unfolding with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, and Rob Gronkowski.

Every player, however, has not regularly forced the Steelers to either reprimand him - Brown drew a strong rebuke from Tomlin after livestreaming a locker room celebration following a playoff victory over Kansas City in 2017 - or issue an apology, as the club did last week when Brown threatened an ESPN reporter on Twitter for the way he was portrayed in a story.

When Antonio Brown sent out a tweet in which he said "trade me", he did it out of frustration and doesn't actually want to leave the Pittsburgh Steelers. "I just assume leave those things in house".

Tomlin said that situation is different because it was one player going after another as opposed to Brown's latest episodes. That was an offseason that began early thanks to the Steelers allowing the Jaguars to score 45 points in Pittsburgh, and it included the kicking to the curb of offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

"He's been a significant reason why we've been successful around here", Tomlin said of Brown.
